Use the old URL of a file instead of picking the file directory path in Drupal

Problem/Motivation

Whenever a file is replaced, it is stored in the file directory path specified by the field. However, I believe that to truly replace a file, the new file should be uploaded to the same location as the old file. This way, it can be considered an actual replacement.
