Upgrading from 1.7 to 1.8 breaks to/from view fields

Upgrading drupal/workflow from 1.7 to 1.8 breaks "From State" and "To State" fields in views.

When I edit the view where they are on, after upgrading I get a "Broken/missing handler" for those two fields. When I revert to v1.7 they work again properly.

Drupal v10.2.6, no workflow patches applied.
