Additional functionality - validation, formatting, obfuscation

I've been tracking (and implementing) phone options on websites for a while. Currently I'm using a combination of the following on several websites:

• Core telephone field
• https://www.drupal.org/project/telephone_advanced →
• https://www.drupal.org/project/telephone_validation →
• https://www.drupal.org/project/telephone_formatter →
• https://www.drupal.org/project/phoney →

Would it be possible to collapse and integrate the (optional?) validation, formatting, and obfuscation/obscurement functionalities into this module? All while continuing to support an international audience?
