There is captcha_point_load() function to check for machine names.
The problem is that the function uses {MODULE_NAME}_{ENTITY_TYPE}_load() structure that will throw an error for sites that have a 'point' entity type.
I suggest using another name for the function e.g. doesn't end with _load.
