Furthermore, mail_login needs to make the switch to UserAuthenticationInterface from UserAuthInterface 📌 [11.1] Deprecate UserAuthInterface Active
Which will finally fix this. I'd suggest creating a 4.x branch for that, which requires Drupal >= 10.3.0

PS: Sorry I accidentally selected 8.x-2.x here, we're using ^3.0! I was confused because there's no 3.x branch selectable.
Setting the priority to critical here as this totally breaks the functionality for Drupal 10.3.0 users.

I guess we can set this POSTPONED on the core patch:

as it seems to fix this issue (which isn't in this module IMHO).

But 📌 Use UserAuthenticationInterface instead of UserAuthInterface (>=10.3.x) Active needs to be targeted.
