Support for ECA 2.x

Created on 24 June 2024, 3 months ago

Currently the eca_cm modeller cannot be installed with the new ECA 2.x version

    - Root composer.json requires drupal/eca_cm ^1.0 -> satisfiable by drupal/eca_cm[1.0.0-beta1, ..., 1.0.8].
    - drupal/eca_cm[1.0.0-beta1, ..., 1.0.8] require drupal/eca ^1 -> found drupal/eca[1.0.0-beta1, ..., 1.1.7] but it conflicts with your root composer.json require (^2.0).

Are there any plans to update this module for ECA 2.x compatability?

    Thanks for the issue. I've added the version constraint to support v2. However I did not thoroughly test it. Please report problems when found.

    It should be noted, that this modeller is not a recommended solution when using ECA. Please only use this one when you have no other option. There is a far better solution available that provides the best experience for ECA, which is the BPMN.io modeller . Support of the Classic modeller may be dropped entirely once there is a better solution available that is also accessible for screen readers. See the project page for more details.

    Thanks for the update!

    I can confirm eca_cm is working with eca.

    To update I ran

    composer require 'drupal/eca_cm:^1.0'
    composer require 'drupal/eca:^2.0'
    drush cr

    and then resaved my ECA models

    Tested ECA invoke and working, thanks again for the quick update.

    I'll also checkout the BPMN modeller in the near future, all good for now.
