Drupal breadcrumb block cant be disabled

Problem/Motivation

The Drupal breadcrumb block is always enabled in gutenberg. Unchecking it on the node type form has no effect.
It always is checked even after unchecking it and saving the form.

Steps to reproduce

enable a node type for Gutenberg.
uncheck the breadcrumb block under Gutenberg experience > Allowed Drupal blocks.
Revisit the node type form and breadcrumbs is still checked.
