Use of a GPL-2 library and legal risks

Problem/Motivation

The library https://github.com/e0ipso/shaper/blob/master/LICENSE is used in this project.
This library uses GPL-2 licence which is a contaminating license. We should be obliged to make open source the whole code of our site if we use this library.

Proposed resolution

Get rid of this library or ask the autor to change the license.
