Make removing a single item easier

Problem/Motivation

Drupal Core introduced delete buttons in multi-value fields in 10.2: 📌 Allow for deletion of a single value of a multiple value field Fixed

Are there any plans to add them to Smart Date's field widgets as well?
I know that this module recommends the usage of Multiple Fields Remove Button → , but with the new functionality in core, this might not be necessary any more.
