Fresh install with Drupal 10.3.0-rc1 to test the module.
Create a paragraph type, try to place the paragraphform block in the Block layout and the Paragraph Type selection won't be saved (no errors but it will still be "- Select -" after reopening the form), thus giving the error below when navigating to the page supposed to show the block.
Same error appears if you just try to add a node that has any paragraph in its fields (uninstall this module and it goes back to work normally).

Oh, I've only ever done this by adding the block to a layout builder page. Does that work for you?
I'll check the block layout issue.
