Port to D10: Add new value(s) to FIELD, instead of overwriting the existing values

Problem/Motivation

I need to set the checkbox "Add new value(s) to FIELD, instead of overwriting the existing values." active as default.
I want to be sure, that people don't overwrite existing parameters ...
Is there a way to do this?
