First of all, thank you for this simple but great and very much needed module, I always end up using it 😅🥰
I wonder if you could add the unique validation feature to the custom_field module → fields, which are basically just groups of normal Drupal field (which you already support) that are saved on the same database table, or if there is something maintainers of that module should do instead.

Oh, just to clarify, I think just checking for a single field uniqueness, which has its own column in the db, ie. by adding the Unique checkbox in the configuration form of each of the custom_field components, would be nice. No need to check some uniqueness by composition of the members.
