As seen, we can remove a lot of ignores as well as future proofing by tightening return type-hints.

Forcing array shape documentation
This is actually very valuable. It's already found many problems. I don't see anything in this MR that removes that though 👍
- Forcing generic documentation
- Ignoring rules in that space at the expense of return type-hints
That sounds fine to me … although IDK what "generic documentation" means here exactly.
As seen, we can remove a lot of ignores as well as future proofing by tightening return type-hints.
