+1 we use this module on a few sites and would love to have a stable release.
Bringing 🐛 Issue when logic is applied to media using default icons as thumbnails Needs work to a resolution would be ideal for a stable release - but I have not been able to find time to try help move that forward since originally reported.
Would be keen to hear from the maintainers which current issues are release blockers.
