Field creation is confusing after Drupal 10.2

Problem/Motivation

Since Drupal 10.2, the field creation form uses a visual layout. It's easy to select either of the two selections highlighted in the attached image, which creates an taxonomy term reference to a backed enum.

Proposed resolution

On Drupal 10.2 or higher, make the "Taxonomy term backed by enum" option a suboption of the "Reference" field type:
