Enable GitLAb CI and fix the issues reported by PHP_CodeSniffer

GitLab CI needs to be enabled on this project, since it will replace DrupalCI in the next months (probably on 2025). Once it is enabled, the PHP_CodeSniffer warnings/errors it reports can be fixed.
