Character limit not working if user uses 'cut & paste'

Hello,
When a user enters the text to field by hand the character limit works fine, it stops them at configured limit like I have set it to.
BUT, if a user uses cut and paste he/she can enter apparently an unlimited number. It is easy to reproduce just use 'cut & paste' to add the ad body content. Managed to reproduce on text formatted long. Also when redirect after save is involved - it actually not trimm on save and saved when passed limit.

    verified by setting max length value=10 for body field and entered characters which accepted only 10 also tried copy paste more than 10 characters but it limit to 10 characters, hence the functionality is working as expected.
