Entity field 'user_id' (Authored by) is not required which if left empty causes error

This is still a problem in 1.2.x

Since the branch has been changed to '1.2.x' from '1.1.1', I also tried "Updating the fork" but can't see the branch there too.would you please help me with this what should i do..?

The 1.2.x branch is the active development branch so merge request branches should be rebased to that branch.

I tested merge request !38 and it prevents an empty user field from erroring when editing a template. I thought we'd need an update hook for the entity but I don't see a notice about an entity mismatch so it looks like it's not necessary in this case.
