Require this new Drimage Improved ā†’ module instead of Drimage ā†’ in Varbase Media.
šŸ’¬ Why rely on Drupal routes to serve generated images for every request? Needs review

Proposed resolution

  • Add drupal/drimage_improved": "~1", in the composer.json file
  • Enable it by default
  • Switch the default namespace and dependencies for configs to drimage_improved
  • Change Drupal.drimage.init to Drupal.drimage_improved.init in the Varbase Media CKEditor 5 integration with Drimage
  • Add a hook update to install drimage_improved and uninstall imageapi_optimize_webp
  • Remove imageapi_optimize_webp from the install
