Problem/Motivation

I found this module through its recent security udpate. I read the project overview page, it looks like this module might be useful, but I can't tell what it does.

Hi, it gives you container based image styles. This is especially useful if your images scale by aspect ratio. So let's say you have 16:9 images on desktop and mobile, you need to build image styles for all your supporting breakpoints and decide yourself which actual pixel size is best for every view port.
With this module, you can generate (via drush) a bunch of those image styles and let the browser decide which one is the best. If you are searching for an art-direction like feature you can use core's responsive_image module.
