Not working with Scheduler module

Problem/Motivation

Module is not working in combination with Scheduler module ( https://www.drupal.org/project/scheduler → ). If content is published via scheduler the module does not prevent content from being published. No warnings are thrown either.

Steps to reproduce

• Add content with empty "required on publish" fields
• Add scheduled date and time
• Run cron after scheduled time has passed
