menus expand inline rather than drop down

This issue is not replicating . I followed all the steps and saw that the menu is coming dropdown only rather than inline.

I added a menu item and also added a child item for this menu item but I'm not able to see the child item as a dropdown or inline, it doesn't appear at all.
Drupal version: 10.0.4

Hello, after selecting show as expanded, the child items are showing up as dropdown and not inline.
Not able to replicate the issue as well. Attaching screenshot.

We are seeing this or a similar problem since upgrade Drupal 10.3 to 10.4

When we view an 'expanded' parent item

This issue is not reproducible on below versions.

Steps taken while trying to reproduce
1. Create a simple Drupal menu with 2 child items.
2. make sure that inside parent menu Show as expanded is selected.
3. Place the menu in the 'navigation' or 'navigation collapsible' region of the DPXR theme.

This issue can be closed.
