While going through the theme for issues I found out that sticky nav has a transparent background other than the home page. On the rest of the pages and articles etc, the background is transparent. I am attaching the screen recording for the following below.
Install the theme and add a couple of menu links, pages and articles switch to mobile viewport and click on the hamburger button icon.
Update the background color for the sticky nav to white.
