@trickfun Yes I think that should be relatively easy. Perhaps even some of the helper methods can be simplified.
Anyway, I don't see this as an important enhancement in any way, but I'd be willing to review it, once it's finished. To ensure nothing gets broken, it would be nice to have tests for the JS before the changes.
