Events information are saved in configuration files and can't be modified after creation.

When you create a node containing a virtual event you will then have a new config file containing the event details: virtual_events.virtual_events_event_entity.bbb_4efe86ee-....yml

This will lead to creation of a large number of configuration files for production sites. Is it the desired behavior and why has it been thought like this ?

Also after creating a node, you can't update the information, what is the reason behind this decision ?
