Provide ECA recipes

This is a great idea, helping get people started using ECA faster.

Is it worth considering allowing the users to share ECA rules via an online library, for common use case rules such as these:

• Customized emails to users with important notifications
• Welcome messages, thank you messages, and so on
• Invitations to log in to view member-only content
• All kinds of user instructions and explanations
• Page redirects
• Access denial
• Spam blocking and spam comment removal
• Notifications for the website’s admin
• Security alerts in case of suspicious actions
• E-commerce discount calculations
• Notifications about products in stock
• Publishing or unpublishing scheduled content

To make it easy to share ECA rules, it could be housed under a new "ECA rule examples" page at https://www.drupal.org/docs/contributed-modules/eca-event-condition-acti... → page, where all kinds of rules can be shared. What do you think?

Hi @ressa, thanks for your suggestions. Did you know that there is already such a public library at https://ecaguide.org/library ? We're hosting a few dozen samples, and most of your suggested ones should be contained there. We also have a bunch of videos at https://tube.tchncs.de/c/eca/videos which do correlate to those samples too.

As soon as Drupal recipes are available in the project browser, we will turn all those samples into recipes and make sure that they are all browsable from there.

I was not aware of that @jurgenhass, that looks like an amazing resource, thanks! Making them available as Drupal recipes via the project browser also sounds wonderful, I am really looking forward to it.

I added a suggestion in 📌 Idea for project page to help with on-boarding Active to guide new users by the hand to the ECA Library, and make it more obvious that it exists.
