Hello, applied the MR, the checkbox is now appearing on the correct side, however, would having the checkbox next to the message "Allow other users to contact you via a personal contact form which keeps your email address hidden. Note that some privileged users such as site administrators are still able to contact you even if you choose to disable this feature." make it clearer for users what they're enabling or disabling?
Please confirm.

Id suggest not, the text "Allow other... " is the field description. Clicking the label checks/unchecks the checkbox. The option is in a fieldset "Contact settings", the checkbox feels logical where it is imo.

It's also not how Olivero displays these checkboxes.

In that case, the checkbox position looks fine after applying the MR!8, RTBC+1.
