The status within the content View doesn't change when I publish/unpublish

Created on 1 May 2024, about 2 months ago

Problem/Motivation

Previously to upgrading to the latest version. We were unable to unpublish content. No matter what we did the status in the db would stay at 1 which means the content was published. Looking at the content view the status didn't change and after going into the document we unpublished the status we show as published.

This morning I upgraded Gin to the latest version and the issue to unpublish/publish content seems fixed.....almost. The status within the content view still shows published.

Steps to reproduce

Unpublish a piece of content.
Look at the content view for the piece of content you just unpublished.
It should show as published.
Go back into your piece of content and you will see that its now in draft mode.

Proposed resolution

Looking at the content View, I have no idea what configuration needs to be tweaked in order to resolve this issue.

I am using Drupal 10.2.5 hosted on Pantheon. We are using PHP 8.2.5

The attached photos show the document in draft mode, I just changed it from Published.
The other attached photo shows the status in the Content View as published.

Closing this as I tested this on various sites without being able to reproduce this. Also a brand new Drupal instance just works as expected. You might need to debug your site ans check for errors.
