Offering to maintain Commerce KBC Paypage

Hi, it looks to me like this module is no longer maintained, since it has no supported releases, is not compatible with the current or future versions of Drupal (see ✨ Drupal 10 & 11 compatibility for commerce_kbcpaypage Needs review ), and activity in the issue queue is very quiet.

One of my clients is using this module (including the patch that my former colleague posted on the other open issue, #3264483: Allow other modules to alter parameters β†’ ), and so I would like to ensure the module is reasonably supported. I've already contributed work towards Drupal 10 compatibility in that above linked issue. I already maintain a number of other projects.

In opening this issue, I'm following the process documented at https://www.drupal.org/docs/develop/managing-a-drupalorg-theme-module-or... β†’ . If the project really is abandoned, I shall continue on to follow the procedure for taking over the project. Hopefully that's unnecessary!

    Hi,

Good news, this module ain't dead! I just consider it feature-complete (as stated on the home page) and since I don't have any projects using it I did not make is D10 compatible.

That said, I do fillow-up the queue for any new issues and try to repond within an appropriate time, but my effort will be limited to reviewing and merging. E.g. in the case of #264483 I asked to rework the hook into an event and use DI where applicable.

I will try tot review your D10/11 compatibily patch later this or next week.

PS: the other maintainers are no longer actively involved, I developed and maintain the D8+ version.

Ah, wonderful, thank you! Sorry to have presumed the module was going unmaintained :) As we're using that patch from #3264483: Allow other modules to alter parameters β†’ , I'll pick up my colleague's work and look to rework the hook to an event as requested, but please don't hold back a D10-compatible release for that.
