After closing the preview by clicking the X the preview should not open again until I click Preview

Problem/Motivation

I close the preview after reviewing to see some changes and realize I need to change few fields. Every blur event reopens the preview including trying to add a new paragraph.

If a user closes the preview it would be preferable that the preview not open again until preview is clicked again.
I have the 'On by default setting off'

Steps to reproduce

Enable Same page preview for content type
Create paragraph with nested content
Add new page with nested paragraphs
Hit preview
Hit X
Change content and click to new field SPP opens again.

Proposed resolution

Clicking the X should close SPP until preview is clicked again

There are a number of changes that result from committed work for Drupal 11 that we also need to reconcile for the module. All of that work will require us to dive into our javascript implementation quite a bit.

While doing that work we can see if we can code in support for this use case.
