"Delete Files" and "FORCE Delete Files"

What is the difference between the two options mentioned in the subject?
If I'm not wrong I've always been using FORCE Delete Files (No Turning Back!), but a few moments ago I've chosen Delete Files... what am I loosing that way? Where is the supposed turning back still hidden?
