i noticed that sometime to prevent unexpected issues, Varbase project lock some dependent project to specific version until they could be safely update. For example this barrio theme issue →
The problem is that even with that lock some warning(update/deprecate) are still shown on site (unless there is misconfiguration on my own site)
if the feature request make sense, may be we could have a configured ignore list settings on update's settings page. something similar to what was in OpenAtrium project or like what is described in this D7 module here
