Add a configure button to the module listing on the extend page

Created on 21 April 2024, over 1 year ago

Problem/Motivation

At the moment the module only has a Permissions button on /admin/modules. For the composite field to show up in the list of available field types on the add field page and actual composite field has to be created first on /admin/structure/field-union. Plus many people tend to follow the configuration button right after installing a new module.

Steps to reproduce

Proposed resolution

Add a Configure button leading to /admin/structure/composite-field (or however the path will be called). That way people don't have to search for the configuration settings.

and a sort of tangential but related question, but i'll ask here before opening a new issue, at the moment the module is sorted under "other". would it make sense to file it under field types even though it is no "real" field type if i understood it correctly and "just" configuration basically? But from an end users perspective the module is adding a field type on the add field page in the end that way it would be discovered more easily.
