It appears that it is required to select a default value for it to appear

Tried with clean drupal:
- Install Voting API Reaction
- Add the new Reaction field in "Structure" -> "Comment types" -> "Default comments" -> "Manage fields". (I did not set default value).
- Create a new "Article" node.
- Comment on the article.
- The reaction widget appeared as expected and is working.
