JS Error: "Uncaught ReferenceError: cookies is not defined"

Hi, I'm trying to get this module to work. I've manually disabled the "Entity Content Visibility" dependency (I'm planning to replace with a custom implementation) and I've found another issue: the JS try to read the "cookies" object on the show_popups() and update_cookie() functions, but the variable is not defined.

The attached path fix the error.
