Option to disable the double click action that creates a new calendar event

Problem/Motivation

There is no option to disable the double click action (which creates a new calendar event) unless you disable the Create permission for the user role. You may want to allow users to create calendar event through the normal node/add path but not through the Calendar view itself.

Steps to reproduce

Enable the Create permission for the desired content type, access the calendar view and double click any any in the calendar. It will take you to the node creation page.

Proposed resolution

There should be a checkbox in the view format display settings to disable the double click action.

What content type you choose to create when doubling clicks?
Can you choose ‘none’ as the option of the drop down box?

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand.
All I did was add a checkbox in the View, which disables the double click action (screenshot attached).
That's what my client needed. Not sure what drop down box you mean.

There is a drop down box to allow you to choose which content type’s content you want to create while double clicking. In that drop down box, the top option is ‘None’, that means‘Not to create’.
