8.x-8.x branch and Tags do not match WET-BEOW versions

Problem/Motivation

As noted in this comment: https://www.drupal.org/project/wxt/issues/3422762#comment-15462864 → and as can be seen in the main 8.x-8.x branch : https://git.drupalcode.org/project/wxt_library/-/blob/8.x-8.x/composer.j... the versions have in fact been updated in the dev branches, yet, in the tags they are not:

- https://git.drupalcode.org/project/wxt_library/-/blob/8.x-8.1/composer.j...
- https://git.drupalcode.org/project/wxt_library/-/blob/8.x-8.0/composer.j...

I'm assuming that at this point, the 8.x-8.x branch should be supporting the latest WET-BOEW.

When can we expect this to be an actual tagged release? Our clients are growing anxious!

It should be noted, it would be much nicer to use a release than having to patch to get this.
