Turn off project issue tracking since issues are tracked in Github.

Created on 8 April 2024, 3 months ago

Problem/Motivation

The Pantheon Advanced Page Cache module maintainers have communicated a preference for handling bug reports and feature requests on GitHub rather than on Drupal.org, contrary to the existing practice of posting them in the drupal.org issue queue.

Steps to reproduce

N/A

Proposed resolution

Align with the maintainers' preference by disabling issue tracking for the Pantheon Advanced Page Cache project on Drupal.org. This change will encourage users to report bugs and request features on GitHub as suggested by the maintainers.

1. Log in to Drupal.org.
2. Go to the project page of the Pantheon Advanced Page Cache module: https://www.drupal.org/project/pantheon_advanced_page_cache β†’ .
3. Click on the "Edit project" tab.
4. Scroll down to the "Issue tracking" section.
5. Uncheck the box labeled "Enable issue tracking for this project."
6. Save your changes.

Looks like I misread the project page, where it says to use the Drupal.org issue queue for issues, and github for code.

Really the only reason I filed this issue in the first place was because the project does not recommend the latest release which confused my team.
