When using the facets summary module you can display links to remove currently selected facets. The markup of these links doesn't really support assistive technologies to make the purpose of the link clear. Visually I see (-) before the name of the facet to indicate that the link removes it. But to a screen reader that isn't clear.
Enable the Facets Summary module. Place the summary block on a search page. Select some facets. Use a screen reader to listen to the Facet Summary links that remove the selected filters.
Update the twig template to use visually hidden text to provide more context.

It affects the ability of people with disabilities or special needs (such as blindness or color-blindness) to use Drupal.
I think the downside of the current patch is that that text is added to the facet list as well when the facet is selected. That doesn't seem ideal.
