Do not want to save invalidate cache tag in Database when submitting a webform

Created on 28 March 2024, about 1 year ago

There are number of entries inserted in cachetags database table while user submitting the form. Currently we do not want to invalidate the cachetags on every submission as we are sending the data to thirdparty.

Is there a way to stop cachetags invalidation on webform submit ?

Not for webform. This is for core on each and every entity save

I'm not sure I understand the question. What problem is this causing? Cache tags are used to ensure cached content is invalidated correctly when data is created, updated or deleted.

The clarification asked for by a core committer has not been supplied in 10 months. Perhaps this has been resolved elsewhere?

The Drupal Core issue queue is not the ideal place for support requests. The 'support request' option is there for filing support issues for contributed modules and themes. There are several support options listed on our support page (Community > Support at the top of Drupal.org) and there is Drupal Slack . You may get better replies in one of those places.
