Module always returns an error with Braintree express checkout with Google Pay enabled

Problem/Motivation

I am using your module and for most forms, I am seeing expected behaviour. On forms with Braintree express checkout with GooglePay enabled though, it always errors, returning 'missing-input-response'. I just wondered if you had any pointers on what might be causing this? If you have seen Google products conflicting before? Thank you
