Thank you for reporting this, and providing a merge request.
We need to extend the test coverage to cover this bug, I think MetatagNodeTranslationTest would be the best place to put it.

It turns out there was an existing issue for this: 🐛 Generate tokens values method does not take into account the entity language Needs work
Let's consolidate the work there.
