I cannot reproduce this. Can you re-check?
On my D10 site at /admin/reports/updates it says "Project not supported: This project is no longer supported, and is no longer available for download. Disabling everything included by this project is strongly recommended!". It showed the same for 8.x-1.0-beta2. This project is clearly still available for download and it looks like it's supported. I will ignore the warning, but thought I would let you know I am running into this and maybe others are too. Not sure how critical this is.
