It seems that the version of this module on GitHub and the version on Drupal are out of sync. On GitHub, this change seems to already be implemented:

Therefore I synchronized the Drupal tree with the GitHub tree, and have published version 1.0.1 at https://www.drupal.org/project/eventbrite_one_way_sync → which contains this change. Thanks again!
