Birds of a Feather sessions (or BoFs) are informal gatherings of like-minded people who wish to discuss a particular topic without a predetermined agenda. For example, BoFs allow groups to meet and discuss issues related to the conference's regular sessions and talk about general issues in the community. BoFs don't necessarily have to be about the community or even Drupal, they can also be used to share your favourite chocolate or coffee or discuss knitting patterns.
Drupal user groups hold BOFs at regular intervals, for example, to organise events within the Drupal community, to advance coding projects together or to discuss topics that are related to Drupal differently and are therefore relevant to the members of the individual groups. Drupal groups are usually self-organised local meetings created by members of the Drupal community.
With this feature, we want to support these kinds of groups and offer them a place where they can advertise themselves and their activities so that like-minded people can easily find out where they can discuss Drupal-related topics with other members of the community soon.
Let's define which functions this component must have.
