Add condition in .simpletest-db for mariadb

Thanks for creating the issue and the MR. It looks good. We needed to do the same for core but this change was not brought to the templates.
It's already in use by the automatic_updates, and proving to work as expected.

I'm merging this and marking it as fixed.
