I have attempted to Migrate / Import some redirect in the following format and found that the URL query parameters are not imported for the destination URL.
Attempt to import a redirect like so,
/tabtopic?qt-tabs_topic=3 /tabtopic?qt-tabs_topic=connect
The destination URL is just /tabtopic
Allow Query Parameter to be imported to the destination URL.
Find where in the code this is happening and work towards resolution.

This problem was coming due to there was feature in the core to support query params. Thus i have created and uploaded the patch on the below link. Please review
