Problem/Motivation

Drupal 10.2.x introduced the merging of both the field_storage_config and field_config forms combined on one page, leading to form errors, when using the storage_alter hook (For further information, see 🐛 Make the module Drupal 10.2.x compatible (Cannot create new fields) Fixed ).

Steps to reproduce

Proposed resolution

Remove Drupal 10.2 compatibility for the old version and create a new 2.1.x Drupal 10.2 only release, with the new changes.
