Page title block missing from every page except "article" node

Problem/Motivation

By default a page title is missing from every page except nodes of the type article.

Is this done on purpose?

Steps to reproduce

Enable Gutenberg Experience on content type other than article. Add a node and view it. The page title is not rendered.

Furthermore page title is missing from every other page and to display it user needs to enable the page title block AND change the visibility setting from Hide for the listed pages to Show for the listed pages which is super confusing.

Proposed resolution

1. Enable page title block on content region on every node
2. Enable page title block on header region on every other page

Okay, actually one doesn't need to enable Gutenberg Experience to experience this issue. Its not related to gutenberg at all.

What do you think about proposed resolution? I can try to provide a fix for this issue.

The idea is to provide the Basic page content type as a "blank canvas" for the editor. So it's on purpose. Perhaps it should be mentioned on the documentation/initial frontpage 🤔
