Ajax error when activating this module

Hello and thanks for the module

Problem/Motivation

We have a site with 3 languages, and the front page lists news in all the languages.
I enabled your module and I get ajax error after configuring it in /admin/config/regional/language

Steps to reproduce

  1. have 3 languages activated for content and interface translation
  2. enable the module and configure the fallbacks in /admin/config/regional/language
  3. Visit home page and you get the error
